This was wonderful. A perfect Valentines Day read. A man who believe he has nothing and a man who seemingly has everything, or so he thought. Gavin and Dutch, I do love that name, are very believable characters. Toss in a lap dance and the sparks start to fly. Gavin takes a chance and it pays off. Just goes to show you shouldn't give up on love.

This is a cute Lil love story. Gavin is a dancer who meets Dutch for a private show. They hit it off. Since Gavin won't tell Dutch his name he calls him eye candy. I just loved this story about 2 guys who let themselves go for it. It is a short story but definitely worth the read!

Take one desperate young dancer with barely anything, and a moody, socially awkward chef with almost everything, throw in a private lap dance where sparks fly, add misunderstandings, doubts, and spicy hot sex, blend in hope, love, and a beautiful HEA ending, and you have one sweet, and delightful story perfect for reading on Valentine's, or any day at all.
Another one to add to the will read again pile! Gavin and Dutch together are an amazing thing. Despite all that Gavin has gone through he gives Dutch a chance and he is finally happy. Good thing Dutch is adamant in chasing after Gavin, they both deserve a happily ever after, together.

As characters, I loved Gavin Rossi (oh, that name got to me) and Dutch Williamson. Their unconventional meeting was full of want and heat, but Gavin was determined to stay true to himself and not fall for pretty words and false promises. Dutch, wealthy, but determined to be seen as dependent of his family's wealth had become the best chef in the city, running two restaurants.
Meeting Gavin, whom he referred to as EYE CANDY, Dutch was enamored and did not hesitate to deny it. Gavin, was a delight. He was determined to make his own way and not fall into the trap as a rentboy. All he wanted was to advance in life and survive. Having so much bad happen to him left him skittish, but I enjoyed his slow emergence into the world of love, opening his eyes and his heart to Dutch. A sweet, enjoyable read that had just enough to soothe the waking beast. I also have a mad, healthy respect for Dutch and his seductive efforts.
